At least six workers were killed and more than a dozen were injured when a boiler exploded in a noodle factory in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Officials say that the rescue operation is on, more information is being gathered about the accident. The death toll is expected to rise.
Giving information about the incident, SSP Jayant Kant said that, so far some 6 people have died in the accident while more than a dozen people have been injured. The people killed in the accident are yet to be identified, it is not known how many people were working in the factory at the time of the accident.

The explosion was so strong that the sound of explosion was heard 5 km away from the spot. At least 5 fire tenders were sent to the spot to douse the fire. People said that nearby establishments were also damaged in the blast. People living nearby said that they heard a loud explosion of explosion in the factory.
DM Pranav Kumar told that the rescue is going on since morning. So far the bodies of 6 people have been fished out. The injured have been sent to the hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The reasons for the incident are being ascertained. Necessary action will be taken after the correct facts come to the fore.
