The incident of bomb blast took place on Saturday amid violence that started on the occasion of Ram Navami in Sasaram, Rohtas, Bihar. Five people have been reported injured in the incident.
Officials said that the injured have been taken to the hospital. Along with this, the forensic team has been sent to the spot. Sasaram DM Dharmendra Kumar said, “There was a bomb blast in Sasaram. The injured were referred to BHU hospital. We are now probing from all angles.”
“The cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained,” he said. Here, late night information has been shared by tweeting in this regard from the official Twitter handle of Bihar Police.
Police said, “Information about the incident of bomb blast was received in Sasaram of Rohtas, during investigation it was found that the spot is a hut. A scooty has also been recovered from there. FSL team is reaching the spot to investigate. Prima facie it does not appear to be a communal incident. Ignore any rumours. Cooperate with the police and administration in maintaining peace.
144 Section Imposed
Here, there was a clash in Bihar Sharif of Nalanda district last night. ASI Surendra Paswan of Bihar Sharif said, “Section 144 has been imposed in Bihar Sharif. Security personnel are deployed in the entire area. Investigation is on in the matter.”
However, District Magistrate Shashank Shubhankar said that there were incidents at 2-3 places in the night but at present the situation is peaceful. More than 80 people have been arrested after identifying the miscreants. Curfew has not been imposed, section 144 has been imposed. Today 9 companies have been called from outside.
