BJP Membership Campaign: On Monday, September 2, 2024, the Bharatiya Janata Party launched the ‘Sangthan Parv, Membership Campaign 2024’ with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading from the front. The programme began at the BJP Headquarters, New Delhi wherein senior party leaders, including BJP President JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Home Minister Amit Shah joined the membership drive.

Amit Shah Highlights BJP’s Unique Membership Approach
Amit Shah, in turn, underlined the difference that BJP brings into a political spectrum: among more than 1,500 political parties of India, BJP is different because it undertakes democratic and transparent membership drives every six years. “Our party is not only the largest in the world but also unique in its approach to membership campaigns,” Shah said.
JP Nadda Lauds PM Modi’s Dedication and Leadership
JP Nadda hailed Narendra Modi as a Prime Minister, an indefatigable party leader. Nadda underlined PM Modi’s hard work and dedication that he had been giving to the BJP given his broad administrative responsibilities: “He has always kept the organization paramount,” he said, reflecting on Modi’s unchanging concentration to strengthen the party.
He also referred to the issue of public trust in politics, where what leaders say and do is an important gap. Singh recalled the time the preparation of the manifesto for the 2014 election was in full swing. “When we were drafting the manifesto, Modi ji was very particular that whatever we promise should match up to actual implementation,” Singh said. “Modi ji’s leadership has been about addressing this trust deficit head-on,” Singh asserted.
