Vangamayi’s Education and Career in Media
Vangamayi graduated from Northwestern Medill School of Journalism with a master’s in journalism. She presently works in the features division of Mint Lounge’s Books and Culture section. She was a features writer for The Hindu prior to this. Prateek Doshi, the bridegroom, is a Gujarati native, according to a Business Today story. He is employed by the PMO as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD). When Narendra Modi was elected prime minister for the first time in 2014, he moved to the PMO. Later in 2019, during his second mandate, Doshi was appointed as OSD in the PMO. According to reports, Doshi oversees the PMO’s research and strategy. Speaking on the mother-daughter relationship, Sitharaman shared a throwback photo with Vangamayi in September 2019 to celebrate Daughter’s Day. She was referred to as her friend, philosopher, and mentor. She stated, “Can say so much and more about daughters,” in a tweet. “A #throwbackpic with my daughter. A friend, philosopher and a guide.
