Rahul Gandhi’s half-white T-shirt and the missing jacket are parallelly as famous as the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Vijender Singh to join Rahul Gandhi in half T-shirt
Meanwhile, in interesting news, former India and current professional boxer Vijender Singh is set to join RAGA in a white half T-shirt when Congress’ mega yatra will reach Jammu and Kashmir later this month. Vijender is a Congress party member and has been a strong supporter of Rahul Gandhi and his party.
Youth Congress leader Mayank Sharma has shared a Tweet confirming the mega move by the boxer.
“International boxer, the pride of India, Vijendra Singh, will be seen in half t-shirt alongside Rahul Gandhi when Bharat Jodo Yatra would reach Kashmir,” said the Congress member on Twitter.
On Saturday, Vijender also posted a picture walking with the ex-Congress President in a white half t-shirt but wearing a black jacket too in the shivering cold in Haryana.
Why Vijender no longer plays for India?
Vijender Singh turned professional boxer in 2015, with a multi-year agreement with Queensberry Promotions through IOS Sports and Entertainment. This has ruled him out of playing for India at International Boxing Association events.
