Unique Welcoming Initiatives for PM Modi in Johannesburg
On this computer screen, there is a greeting for PM Modi. On this digital display, the text “Sawubona Welcome Prime Minister Modi” is displayed. Notably, the local language is “Sawubona,” which means greeting. There is also a 3-D representation of the Swami Narayan Temple in Johannesburg. The Indian community will exhibit this picture in front of PM Modi. In actuality, the temple won’t be finished until 2025.
PM Modi Sets Off for BRICS Summit in South Africa
To attend the BRICS conference, PM Modi has departed for South Africa. In a tweet on X (previously Twitter) before his trip, PM Modi stated: “I am leaving for Johannesburg, South Africa to attend the BRICS Summit.” He wrote, “I will also participate in the BRICS-Africa Outreach and BRICS Plus Dialogue programmes. The summit will provide a platform to discuss issues of concern to the Global South and other regions of development”.
