A video has gone viral where a bus conductor is seen saving the lives of a man and a child. Jaison Joseph, the bus conductor of Kerala Road Transport Corporation bus, were shooting the video to show the intensity of the heavy rainfall. In no time, man and the child caught the attention of Joseph. The man was clinging to the wheel of the standing bus, grasping the child.
After watching the man and child covered in mud and struggling to survive through the heavy water stream on the road, Joseph rushed immidiately and pull both of them up in the bus. Later in the video, one can see the pair standing in the bus safely but covered in heavy mud. The two men hail from Gujarat. Both of them ended up there after the man’s wife got stuck near the car at the same place. In the process of escaping in such a heavy rainfall, the duo also got stuck as well. After rescuing the man and his son, bus conductor informed others to rescue his wife as he could not go there to help her himself. The lady got rescued successfully too.
The rainfall in Kerala is not stopping since this friday. In fact, the bad weather and heavy rainfall is ending up creating small water streams and incovinience to the citizens. The father-son duo is not the only one to get affected by increasing water level but more than 20 people have died and about a dozen of people went missing in Idukki and Kottayam districts of Kerala in just three days. Reportedly, water level has also increased to 2,396.96 feet on Monday in Idukki reservoir which is one of the highest arch dams of Asia.
