Maa Skandmata Puja Vidhi
Goddess Skandamata is known as the goddess who awakens new consciousness in worldly creatures. To perform the puja, start by taking a bath and wearing yellow clothes on the fifth day of Chaitra Navratri. Offer yellow sandalwood, yellow chunri, yellow bangles, and yellow flowers to the Goddess while chanting “Om Skandamatrai Namah.” Bananas are very dear to Mother Skandamata, so offer them as a nevaidya or mix saffron in kheer and offer it to her. Chant her mantras and after the aarti, distribute banana prasad to five girls. This is believed to please the Goddess and help children overcome all difficulties in life.

Remedies of Maa Skandmata
For couples who desire to have a child, tie a coconut in a chunri and recite the mantra “Yashodagarbha Sambhava going to Nandgopgriha. Tatastau Nashayishyami Vindhyachalnivasini” while offering the coconut and chunri to the Goddess. After that, keep it on the head of the bedroom. It is believed that worshiping Skandamata will remove any obstacles coming in the way of a couple’s desire to have a child.
