“Chun Chun ke Marenge”, says Maharashtra MLA reacting to reports of Pakistan zindabad slogans raised during protest

While reacting to reports of Pakistan zindabad slogans raised during protest in support of PFI in Pune BJP MLA from Maharashtra Nitish Rane said “Chun Chun ke Marenge”.

“To all those shouting Pakistan Zindabad slogans in support of PFI in Pune.. Chun chun ke marenge.. Itna yaad rakana!!! #BanPfi” read a tweet by Nitesh Rane.

On social media a video of protested raising slogans of Pakistan zindabad went viral.

Against the nationwide conduct of raids, PFI staged protest in Pune on Tuesday which resulted in the arrest of more than hundred activist of the outfit, around 40 persons were detained by the police during the said protest, as per reports.

“We have already registered a case against the PFI members for unlawful assembly and we are looking into the slogans matter,” said DSP, Sagar Patil, Pune city Police. He added that police is looking into the matter.

Notably, on Thursday, the NIA and ED searched locations across the country belonging to organisations, such as PFI, and people engaged in terrorism-related activity. The “largest-ever investigation process to date” according to the description of the raids.

In response to the raids, the PFI organised a “harthal” on Friday from dawn to sunset throughout Kerala. During this time, 171 persons were detained and 368 were arrested in connection with numerous violent incidents that occurred throughout the state. According to sources, 12 officials were hurt during a variety of situations, and 71 KSRCTC buses were destroyed. The majority of the buses were harmed by stone pelting, and it’s estimated that the Corporation lost Rs 30 lakh as a result.
