The hearing on the issue of pollution was held in the Supreme Court on Friday. During this, the Uttar Pradesh government told the court that the polluted air coming from Pakistan is affecting Delhi. The UP government further argued that the smoke of the industries of UP does not come towards Delhi. It goes the other way.
During this, the atmosphere of the court also lightened a bit. Advocate Ranjit Kumar, appearing for the UP government, said that the air is not coming to Delhi from our side. We ourselves are in the zone of wind flow. The wind is coming from Pakistan.
“Do you want us to ban Pakistan’s industries,” Chief Justice of India NV Ramana asked Senior advocate Ranjit Kumar.
The Supreme Court has postponed the next hearing of the case till Friday. The court asked the UP government to apply before the task force committee for the demand to start sugarcane and milk factories for a longer time. Apart from this, the Supreme Court allowed the continuation of the construction of hospitals being built by the Delhi government.

The court asked the UP government what they have done to pay the laborers when there was a ban on construction. Did he give money? The lawyer of the UP government said that after getting information about it, he will tell in the court in the next hearing. The Delhi government submitted an affidavit in the Supreme Court regarding the steps being taken regarding pollution. It said that the schools were reopened by the Center on the instructions of the Commission CAQM. But now when the situation does not improve, schools will not be opened.
At the same time, the Center also informed the Supreme Court about the steps being taken against pollution. The Center filed an affidavit and said that we have formed a task force, which will meet daily and the flying squad will report to it daily. The task force will take necessary steps in the matter of pollution. The Center said that the Flying Squad will work in both Delhi-NCR places. The issue of pollution in Delhi-NCR is being heard continuously in the Supreme Court. Earlier on Thursday, the Supreme Court had reprimanded the Delhi government on the school issue. After this, the court had warned the central and state governments that we are giving 24 hours time, the government should take immediate steps to reduce pollution.
