Congress: The Narendra Modi government was charged by the Congress on Monday with purchasing brand-new malware called “Cognyte” for spying. It will cost up to Rs 986 crore, according to senior Congressman Pawan Khera. The Grand Old Party launched its most recent strike after Pegasus replacement-related news revealed that an Indian defence department had been buying equipment from an Israeli spyware company. According to sources, the company in question is Cognyte Software Ltd. Investors in the US have filed a class action complaint against the company.
Pawan Khera alleged that they spend millions of taxpayer dollars on spyware
“This nation’s two spies have no faith in anyone, period. not the NGOs, courts, civil society, or media, not their own. Everyone is aware of how they used the police and the intelligence network for eavesdropping while they were in their home state of Gujarat. They have carried out more eavesdropping on people now that they are here. In a news conference held at the headquarters of the Congress Party in Delhi, Pawan Khera alleged that they spend millions of taxpayer dollars on spyware and related technology. They have constructed a hollow castle of dread and deceit. They fear that their castle will crumble if their truth is revealed.

The party wanted to know how much money it was spending on the spyware-Congress Leader
The Congress wanted information about these allegations, including whether or whether the government purchased equipment from “Cognyte” and which Ministry was responsible for procuring the surveillance technology. Additionally, the party wanted to know how much money it was spending on the spyware. Have you sent out the request for proposals? If so, under what ministry?” questioned the Congress leader. These accusations follow those Rahul Gandhi made regarding surveillance during his trip to the UK. We’re eagerly awaiting the Modi administration’s and the BJP’s response to these accusations.
