PM Modi: Sam Pitroda, the leader of the Congress, stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi deserves respect everywhere and that he is “proud” of it ahead of his historic trip to the US on an official state visit. Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, is currently touring the United States with Pitroda, the chair of the Indian Overseas Congress.
Alternative India vs. BJP’s Ideology
While Gandhi has emphasised his alternative vision of India in contrast to the one held by the governing BJP and has been harshly critical of the administration led by Prime Minister Modi, he has endorsed the party’s foreign policy positions on subjects like the conflict in China and the Ukraine. Gandhi said, ‘We (India) are all for it when we do anything well. And as you can see, I was informed that the Indian Prime Minister is enjoying a warm welcome. I then said that I was pleased with the development since, at the end of the day, he is also my prime minister. Let’s avoid error, nevertheless. Pitroda’s Call for Respect and Clarification Amidst Political Distortions
