The Budget session of the Delhi assembly, which commenced today, was stalled after a ruckus between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The AAP members and BJP leaders were seen rising slogans against each other before Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena’s address to the House on Friday. The LG could not deliver his speech due to the constant ruckus between the two parties.

Around ₹20,000 crore over a period of 10 years will be spent for the entire project. The government has completed 28 flyovers/underpasses till date now, and another 30 major projects including flyover, underpasses, bridges will be constructed by the Arvind Kejriwal government. Three unique double decker flyovers will also be constructed in Delhi. On these double decker structures, vehicles will ply on the lower deck and Metro will run on the upper deck,” a senior officer said.
