Air India flight has made an emergency landing. This flight was going from Delhi to Paris. Air India flight AI143 was called back after getting information about flap issues. The safe landing of the aircraft with about 231 passengers took place at the Delhi airport.

According to CISF sources, all the aircraft and passengers are safe. Complete arrangements were made at Delhi airport for emergency landing. Delhi’s hospital and fire department were also alerted.
Meanwhile, it may also be mentioned here that due to poor visibility in Raipur, Indigo flight IGO 6687 Ahmedabad-Raipur was diverted to Bhubaneswar at 12.37 pm. Flight AIC 651 Mumbai-Raipur was diverted to Nagpur at 11.53 am due to poor visibility.
Due to dense fog, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert. In view of this, Delhi airport has also alerted all its passengers on Thursday (January 5). The airport said that between Monday and Tuesday, around 100 flights were delayed and some were diverted due to fog.
Apart from this, it was said, “Passengers are requested to contact the concerned airline for flight update information.” The Meteorological Department wrote in its advisory that there is dense to very dense fog at many places, cold day to severe cold day conditions at some places. Apart from this, it was said that there are signs of cold day at different places. IMD uses four color codes for weather warnings – Green (no action required), Yellow (watch and stay updated), Orange (be prepared) and Red (take action).
