Delhi MCD Elections 2022: Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Monday addressed a press conference as the AAP began its election campaign for Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Expressing confidence that his party will emerge victorious in the upcoming MCD election, the AAP leader said that when given chance, Arvind Kejriwal government at the helm has exceeded people’s expectations.
Manish Sisodia Attacks BJP
Counting the achievements of his party in Delhi, Sisodia said the Arvind Kejriwal government has facilitated the people of Delhi with many facilities such as free electricity, the revamping of government schools and to name a few. Launching a scathing attack at the Bharatiya Janata Party, the leader said that opposition hasn’t worked in the public interest in the 15 years. He further added that what BJP couldn’t do in last 15 years, AAP will achieve in five years. He added that instead of listing the work done by their government, the BJP leaders are more interested in attacking AAP chief Kejriwal. Urging voters to exercise their power, Sisodia said development in every nook and corner will only be possible when people choose Kejriwal as the corporator in the upcoming MCD elections. He vowed if given opportunity, the party will free Delhi of corruption, a feat which BJP has never been able to achieve.
