Delhi News: 36-Year Old Amazon Manager Fatally Shot in Attack; Police Investigation Underway

Delhi News: A disturbing event unfolded on Tuesday night in the national capital, where a 36-year-old manager of an e-commerce platform Amazon lost his life due to gunshots fired by unidentified attackers. Another individual also suffered injuries during the incident.

Five attackers attack both the men

Police reports indicate that the two individuals were riding a motorcycle near Subhash Vihar in the Bhajanpura area when the attackers confronted them. Unfortunately, Harpreet was struck in the head by a bullet and was killed instantly. His friend Govind Singh sustained a bullet injury to his right ear during the incident.

Harpreet Gill held the position of a senior manager at Amazon, while his companion, Govind Singh, aged 32 and a resident of Bhajanpura, runs a local eatery named ‘Hungry Momos.’ Presently, Singh is receiving medical care at LNJP Hospital. During the incident, both Gill and Singh were on a motorcycle when a group of five attackers on a scooter and a motorcycle intercepted them, proceeding to open fire.

Investigation underway

Authorities are currently reviewing the CCTV footage in the vicinity to identify and apprehend the culprits. They are also in the process of determining the motive behind the shooting incident. A case has already been registered, and ongoing investigations are underway.
