This time, we are conducting a PTM for two days, so that a maximum number of parents are able to attend this. In the last 8 years, parents have played a vital role in Delhi’s education revolution.”
According to a circular from the Delhi Government’s Directorate of Education (DoE), parents and teachers are acknowledged as the two crucial pillars responsible for a child’s holistic development. It read, “Therefore, the interaction between them is indispensable for the betterment of the academic performance of students.”
What did Education Minister Atishi Marlena say?
Describing the parent-teacher meeting as a significant platform to facilitate this interaction, the circular emphasized that an extended duration would facilitate greater parental participation.
