Delhi Shocker: The accused in the Kanjhawala case admitted to the police that they knew a lady was caught beneath a car but continued to drive the car out of fear. In that case, a woman was carried for several kilometres by a car that struck her scooty. The vehicle made many U-turns in the Kanjhawala neighbourhood of Delhi, dragging the woman from Sultanpuri as it did so.
The tragic incident of Anjali
According to authorities, the defendants were aware that if they had stopped the automobile and saved the woman, a murder case would have been brought against them. Anjali’s nude body was discovered in Delhi’s Kanjhawala neighbourhood on the eve of the new year after being pulled by a speeding automobile from Sultanpuri.
The accused allegedly continued to drive until the woman’s body fell off because they were so terrified, according to the police. The suspect had earlier informed the police that because of the loud music playing inside the vehicle, they had missed the body and had driven away when they realised what had happened. But they have now confessed that it was all a lie.
After being dragged by a car for nearly 12 kilometres in the early hours of January 1, a 20-year-old lady died. Anjali’s companion Nidhi was found to be riding along on the two-wheeler she was operating during the inquiry. Anjali was pulled from Sultanpuri in Delhi to Kanjhawala when their vehicle collided with a car and she became trapped underneath it. After receiving minor wounds, Nidhi ran away from the scene.
Seven men arrested in the case
Deepak Khanna, Manoj Mittal, Amit Khanna, Krishan, Mithun, Ashutosh (owner of the vehicle), and Ankush are the seven individuals who have been detained in connection with the death of Anjali, a 20-year-old woman. Due to their efforts to help the other five guys in a cover-up, Ashutosh and Ankush were detained today.
The victim’s ribs were visible from the back, and the post-mortem investigation confirmed that she had 40 external injuries. The “brain matter was missing” and her skull’s base was broken. Her lower limbs, spine, and head were all injured. Anjali, the victim, had five siblings and was the only provider for the family. She used to work for an event management firm to provide for the family’s needs.
