From today onwards, inflation is going to hit the pockets of Delhiites. In fact, domestic LPG gas cylinder will be costlier by Rs 50 in the capital. The new prices will be applicable from 12 noon on Monday. After the price increase, the price of 14.2 kg cylinder will be Rs 769 per cylinder.
On the other hand, the prices of crude oil are increasing continuously in the international market. Hence the prices of petroleum products are increasing daily. In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, the old machines had to be stopped after the price of premium petrol crossed 100. In view of this, petrol pumps of Delhi have also started preparations at their level. For this, trials have also started running on the remaining petrol pumps, so that if such a situation occurs, there is no need to shut down the petrol pump.
This is the second time in the month of February when gas prices have increased. Earlier on February 4, the price of non-subsidized cylinder in Metro City was increased by Rs 25. The price of the cylinder was increased from Rs 694 to Rs 719. The increase in the price of LPG has come at a time when the prices of petrol and diesel in India are at an all-time high.
