Ex FM Bilawal Bhutto Daydreams, Says Will Go All Out For Kashmir, Pakistani People Say ‘Ye Sab Chunaav Ke Naare…’

Bilawal Bhutto on Kashmir

Bilawal Bhutto on Kashmir: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto has pledged to further Kashmir’s cause in the event that he is elected prime minister in the upcoming presidential election in Pakistan. Both India and Pakistan assert claims to the entirety of Kashmir’s Himalayan region. A military boundary separating the portions of Kashmir held by the two nations is known as the Line of Control (LoC). It is the de facto border, however it is not an internationally recognised legal boundary.

India’s Rejection of China and Pakistan’s Claims to Kashmir

In the year 2020, China accounted for 15%, Pakistan for 30%, and India for roughly 55% of the entire territory of Kashmir. India asserts that China and Pakistan are making fictitious claims to Indian territory and that it owns Kashmir. Since 1990, Pakistan has observed February 5th as Kashmir Solidarity Day annually in opposition to India’s de facto sovereignty over its State of Jammu and Kashmir. Before Moving ahad of India Pakistan Clash on Kashmir, Lets recall some history of India Pakistan Relations.

Indo-Pakistani War of 1965

August 5, 1965, marked the start of the month-long Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, which ended on September 23, 1965. Operation Gibraltar, launched by Pakistan with the intention of infiltrating forces into Jammu and Kashmir to spark an insurgency against Indian control, was the cause of the war. India launched a full-scale military assault on West Pakistan in retaliation.

What started off as a little dispute in Kashmir eventually turned into a full-scale warfare between the two nations. Although Pakistan achieved some success in the Rajasthan desert, its primary attempt to block India’s Jammu-Srinagar road link was unsuccessful. Indian tanks moved forward until Lahore was in sight. Though both teams declared victory, India was the most deserving of celebration.

India and Bangladesh Relations

Right from the beginning of the Liberation War, Indira Gandhi stood behind the people of Bangladesh. Approximately one crore refugees from Bangladesh were housed by her. In front of almost 500,000 spectators at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka, Indira Gandhi had a conversation with Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father of Bangladesh.

Gandhi became fully involved in the fight to free Bangladesh in December 1971. India’s contribution to Bangladesh’s independence resulted in the growth of solid bilateral ties. The nations are separated by the world’s fifth-longest land border, spanning 4,096 kilometres (2,545 mi). Since gaining their independence, India and Pakistan have engaged in a number of violent confrontations, most notably the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. The “Neighbourhood First Policy” of India aims to restore normal ties with Pakistan.

Kargil War

India and Pakistan fought each other for three months during the 1999 Kargil War. The Kargil area of Kashmir and the Line of Control (LOC) were the sites of the fighting. Approximately 1,500 Pakistani soldiers entered Indian territory at Kargil, Jammu & Kashmir, in May 1999, sparking the start of the conflict. The objective of the soldiers was to severe the link between Ladakh and Kashmir.

Early in May, the Indian troops discovered the Pakistani infiltration, which sparked fierce combat between the two forces. As part of Operation Vijay, the Indian Army drove out the Pakistani trespassers and retook Tiger Hill and other positions during the conflict.

Pakistan has no future, so should we fight with our own weaknesses or with the neighboring country?”

The reporter further said that the government has no money but let’s talk about war with India, what is your opinion on this. On this the person replied, “They want war because the common people have to die. Nothing will happen to them.” On this matter, another person replied, “These slogans of liberating Kashmir are only for elections, they are not at all practical at the ground level. Our own accounts are empty, how will we fill theirs.”
