Farmers of the city, who were going to support the wrestlers at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, were taken into custody by the Delhi Police at Chilla border on Friday. About 50 farmers were kept in Kondli police line and released after 8 hours at Chilla border. National President of Bharatiya Kisan Union Balraj Bhati along with about 50 workers and office bearers was going to Delhi to support the wrestlers.
They were stopped by the Delhi Police at Sector 14A Chilla border around 11 am.
The farmers started protesting sitting there. After this the Delhi Police took the farmers into custody. In this the president of the organization Balraj Bhati was arrested. Along with this, National Vice President Veer Singh Bhati, Mahila Morcha National President Rekha Siwal, State President Hatam Singh Bhati, State Vice President Sachin Sharma, District President Ramveer Bhati were taken into custody.

National President Balraj Bhati told that we were going to peacefully support the wrestlers in Delhi. Delhi Police kept him in custody for about 8 hours. Left at Chilla border around 7 in the evening. The wrestlers protest against Indian Wrestling Federation and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Women wrestlers have made serious allegations of sexual exploitation on Brij Bhushan.
