The Delhi Police is making fresh revelations in the toolkit case. In this direction, the Delhi Police has now written a letter to the video-conferencing app Zoom on Tuesday. The police have sought details of the ‘Toolkit’ document case for the January 26 violence.
The police have sought details of a meeting with MO Dhaliwal, the founder of Poetic Justice Foundation in this case. According to the Delhi Police, the editors of the toolkit collaborated with the Khalistani Poetic Justice Foundation to spread disagreement against the country. Disha was the one who shared the toolkit with Greta Thunberg.
In a document handed over to the Mumbai Police through his lawyer, Nikita confessed to a ‘zoom’ meeting. According to news agency ANI, Nikita claims that the ‘toolkit’ was produced by volunteers from Extinction Rebellion (XR) India. Jacob said that he did not share any information with Greta Thunberg. Nikita said that the toolkit was only an ‘information pack’ and was not designed to incite violence. Jacob seeks protection from his arrest for four weeks.
Delhi Police has written a letter to ‘Zoom’. The company has been asked for the details of the online meeting held on 11 January to prepare a ‘toolkit’ in support of the farmers’ demonstration, allegedly by a group of pro-Khalistan. On Monday, Delhi Police claimed that on January 11, a meeting was held on the zoom in which 70 people attended. According to police, MO Dhaliwal of the Poetic Justice Foundation, associated with the Khalistani organization, contacted Nikita Jacob through Puneet, who is living in Canada. It is also part of the Poetic Justice Foundation, an organization of Mahila Dhaliwal.
A Delhi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Bombay High Court counsel Nikita Jacob and Shantanu for sharing a toolkit related to farmers’ performance. Environmental activist Disha Ravi has already been arrested for editing this toolkit and sharing it on social media.
Nikita has filed a transit bail petition in the Bombay High Court. A senior police official said Nikita and Shantanu are accused of preparing documents and being in direct contact with pro-Khalistan elements. Both toolkits are desired in the case. The police also raided Mumbai and elsewhere in search of both.
Who is Nikita Jacob?
Nikita deleted her Twitter account when there was a dispute. It is being claimed that he had introduced herself in her profile to be associated with the Bombay High Court lawyer, environmentalist and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). However, in the new profile, she has removed her connection with the Aam Aadmi Party. Twitter user Vijay Patel has claimed that Nikita prepared a document called Solidarity with Indian Farmers on January 30, 2021. It is claimed that she has also maintained an account on Instagram called News Infuse.
