Farmers Protest: The government is taking all necessary steps to prevent farmers from Punjab and Haryana from marching into Delhi. Hard-shell trailers with fire resistance are designed to withstand tear gas rounds. Meanwhile, there’s news that the Indian government and farmers would have discussions on February 12 to discuss their requests.
Enhanced Tractor Modifications
A Central Intelligence Agency official told ANI that tractors with hydraulic equipment had been outfitted to demolish obstacles. These machines now have twice as much horse power. To combat tear gas, hard-shell trailers that can withstand fire are being created. These customised cars have also been used for practice by farmers.
Farmers’ March and Section 144
The Haryana government has put the CRPC’s section 144 into effect. In relation to the farmers’ march, the Chandigarh government has also enforced Section 144 for a period of sixty days. Authorities have erected barbed wire, concrete blocks, sandbags, and anti-riot vehicles on the road at the Shambhu border, which is close to Ambala.
