Fog Update: As the impact of winters is intensifying rapidly across several North Indian states, the fog, too is showing its hazardous effect on the natives. In several Indian cities, the fog in the morning becomes utterly dense and creates several problems for the commuters. The phenomenon is widely seen in the North Indian cities.
IMD has predicted that coldwave will soon strike the states and the weather pattern will get a significant overhaul. Also, more chilly winds will soon affect the natives during the morning.
Delhi
The most recent report indicates that Delhi’s visibility would be reduced to 800M during the early morning hours due to mist, but it will increase as the day moves closer to sunrise.
Lucknow
The impact of the fog has been significantly lessened in several areas as a coldwave that is expected to hit North India shortly. In mist, IMD forecasts a 1500-meter reduction in visibility in Lucknow.
Jaipur
As per the latest fog update, Jaipur’s mornings and late nights are not predicted to be foggy. This is predicted to continue for few more days, according to IMD’s forecast.
Amritsar
Amritsar’s visibility will probably remain at 1200M due to a shallow fog, although it could increase to 2000M due to haze in the morning. The visibility should improve as the day goes on, though.
