Fog Update: North India is now going to be severely cold. A change in conditions is expected till December 15 amidst clear sky and dry weather. The Meteorological Department has predicted severe cold after December 15. The effect of fog has started intensifying due to cooling of the upper atmosphere and heating due to dry weather on the ground and strong sunlight coming out during the day. People are expected to face problems due to increasing cold.
At this time, the effect of fog in the morning, sunshine in the day and cold in the night is being seen. Due to the clear sky and dew falling, the weather starts changing from the evening itself. Fog has also caused a modest reduction in visibility.
Delhi
IMD predicts that the national capital will have a visibility of 0800M in the shallow fog during today’s morning. However, the weather pattern is likely to continue for several upcoming days.
Lucknow
UP’s capital city is predicted to be worst affected with the fog today. As per the reports, the visibility can drop upto 0400M in the morning. Cold has also begun to intensify daily, making the mornings a little too problematic.
Amritsar
As per the latest fog update, the mornings are likely to be least affected by fog in Amritsar while nights are predicted to be covered in much denser fog. The visibility can drop upto 2500M in mist.
Jaipur
The fog won’t have an impact on Jaipur today, according to IMD. Additionally, it is expected that the city will experience this occurrence for a few days to come. But it hasn’t been verified how certain that is, yet.
