Fog Update: Chilly weather conditions engulf the North, major shift in fog cover expected in these areas

Fog Update: People in North India are experiencing many issues as a result of the growing cold and fog. Due to thedecreased visibility, numerous significant traffic accidents have made headlines during the past two days. The Ghaziabad district government has adjusted the start and end times for all classes from kindergarten to twelve in consideration of the chilly weather and fog.

The country’s capital, Delhi, has endured two days of frigid weather and thick fog. Fog continues to have an impact day or night, which also has an impact on how fast cars are moving down the road. The ability to see what is even ten meters ahead in front of you is also getting harder.

Delhi

IMD forecasts that a dense fog will cover the national capital region today as well. It’s been a really difficult week so far, and it’s probably going to stay that way for the rest of the season. According to the most recent fog report, morning visibility will decrease by up to 050 metres. However, it is expected to get better after the early morning.

Lucknow

As with Delhi, Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, is expected to stay the same. Visibility will decrease up to 050 metres in the morning, according to IMD. As the day goes on, though, things will get better. Nighttime visibility is expected to decrease by up to 600 metres, according to earlier forecasts.

Amritsar

Over Amritsar, there will be a heavy fog situation. According to latest fog update, the city’s visibility will experience loss of up to 50 metres will continue. The situation will improve as the day moves closer to afternoon. It is expected to go above 500 meters after the morning.

Jaipur

The IMD has forecasted that Jaipur will stay fog-free while the rest of North India is engulfed in enormous, thick blankets of fog.
