Fog Update: The North Indian states has been pounded by cold waves after Monday saw even a low of six degrees Celsius. On Monday morning, the city awoke to a very thick fog with very limited vision. Visibility dropped to much lower levels yesterday and the same is anticipated even at lower levels for today.
The conditions are likely to get worse with the increasing cold in the country. Major problem due to the same are experienced by the commuters. Yesterday, several trains were delayed due to the fog. Although, IMD has already predicted that the same weather pattern will affect the natives in upcoming days as well.
Delhi
Just like yesterday, the national capital will be engulfed in fog for today as well. Thick blanket of fog will cover up the complete NCR region. As per the latest fog update by IMD, the visibility will drop to 200M during the early morning. However, it is expected to get better as the day proceeds.
Lucknow
The conditions in Uttar Pradesh’s capital are even more worrying. IMD has predicted that during the early hours of morning, the visibility can drop up to just 050 M. This is also a worrying sighn for people who travel in the morning. Commuters need to be well cautious while driving in the morning.
Amritsar
Conditions in Amritsar are no better in comparision to North India. The visibility is all set to drop upto 100M in the morning with even major drop happening during the sunrise. Also, the effect is worrisome for daily wage workers and farmers.
Jaipur
Despite fog happening in other major cities of North India, IMD has predicted that Jaipur will largely remain free from the fog. It is expected that similar weather conditions will continue in the city.
