Fog Update: The past few days have seen a severe cold wave sweep across North India. Punjab and Haryana are anticipated to have dense to very dense fog conditions, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The north Indian plains’ remaining areas may experience intense fog today, although it will gradually dissipate throughout the day. Within the next two to three days, it is anticipated that Punjab, Haryana, and north Rajasthan may experience cold day/cold wave conditions.
Additionally, dense fog is expected early on Sunday in isolated places of Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Assam, and Tripura. The night of December 25 and the early morning of December 26 will see similar weather conditions over Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan, which will then reduce.

Delhi
Not much is predicted to change during the early hours of the morning. IMD has predicted that the visibility will range between 50-100 metres. However, the natural reduction will be seen thereafter. The fog is likely to affect the city for several upcoming days.
Lucknow
Today will be slightly better in comparision to yesterday and the impact will likely be on the lower end in the state capital of Uttar Pradesh i.e. Lucknow. However, the cold is anticipated to be same in the surrounding regions of Kanpur and Bareilly as well.
Amritsar
The nights will be much more affected today than the previous days. Meanwhile, the same amount of fog will continue to dominate the city today as well while the visibility will drop to 50M in the morning. This is likely to range between 400M during the start of today’s night.
Jaipur
Jaipur is predicted to remain fog-free this Chritsmas. The impact will likely be similar like some previous days of cold as nothing major has been predicted by the IMD.
