Fog Update: The western disturbance has finally gone off after several days of rain in North. Weather in the plains is now predicted to remain sunny and dry for few days. However, with that, fog has also reduced in major parts of the region. Although, shallow fog continues to engulf several cities. This includes the national capital Delhi along with Lucknow.
Hills have been severely affected by the snowfall lately. In several regions of Bihar, Punjab, and West UP, shallow fog has taken over the cities. Read below to know IMD’s fog update.
Delhi
The national capital is predicted to have its morning wrapped under the blankets of fog. The visibility is predicted to drop to 600 metres in the morning today and then gradually improve up to 1200 metres during the noon.
Lucknow
Similar to Delhi, UP’s capital Lucknow is predicted to be covered by fog. As per the latest fog update, Lucknow’s visibility will drop up to 600 metres during the early morning hours and then it will improve up to 1500 metres after the morning.
Jaipur
IMD predicts that Jaipur will also be impacted by the fog irrespective of the condition it had in the last few days. IMD has predicted that the visibility be 800 metres in the city during morning.
Amritsar
As per the latest updates, Amritsar is predicted to have a clearer day today. The visibility will be 1200 metres in the morning and will then improve up to 3000 metres later in the day.
