Fog Update: According to recent weather reports, major regions of Uttar Pradesh (UP), Punjab, and Rajasthan are expected to have clear skies with very light fog. On the other hand, Bihar is expected to experience light fog. The national capital, Delhi, however, will continue to be affected by shallow fog.
The lack of fog in UP, Punjab, and Rajasthan is good news for residents as it will lead to improved visibility and easier transportation. However, the light fog in Bihar and the shallow fog in Delhi may cause some difficulties for commuters and travellers. Fog can reduce visibility on roads and cause delays in transportation, particularly for drivers.
Delhi
The national capital is predicted to have visibility drop of up to 1000 metres during the early morning hours and then gradually improve to 1500 metres. As per the IMD, the mornings will continue to remain similar in upcoming days as well.
Lucknow
IMD has predicted Lucknow to remain free from the grip of fog today. Though, some isolated region might experience a dip in visibility of up to 600 metres during the early morning hours, rest of the day is predicted to remain clear.
Jaipur
Jaipur will continue with its spree of fog-free days. Though, temperature of Jaipur is also likely to climb up by a few notches, making the day warmer.
Amritsar
Majority of Amritsar is also predicted by IMD to remain clear from fog today. However, in some regions, patches of fog will possibly create problems.
