The two presidents greeted one another with a friendly handshake. The Konark wheel from Odisha was then explained to Biden by PM Modi shortly after that.
Symbolism of the Konark Wheel
During King Narasimhadeva I’s rule in the 13th century, the Konark Wheel was constructed. The 24-spoke wheel represents India’s historical wisdom, sophisticated civilization, and architectural brilliance and is also used as the country’s flag. When the G20 delegation and leaders arrived at Bharat Mandapam, PM Modi gave them a warm welcome. More than 30 heads of state and other senior government representatives from the European Union, invited guest nations, 14 presidents of international organisations, and more are present at the summit.
