Aadhaar Card Update: The deadline for upgrading Aadhaar card details for free has been extended to September 14, 2024, according to a recent notification by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). With this ruling, Indian citizens will have more time to make sure that their biometric and demographic data is accurate.
Why the Extension Matters
The deadline extension, which was originally scheduled for June 14, 2024, intends to save residents from any rush and provide them plenty of time to examine and update their Aadhaar details for free. This involves making necessary adjustments using the UIDAI’s myAadhaar portal, including name, address, photo, and other relevant information.
