Hanuman Jayanti 2023: Hanuman Jayanti is said to have originated during the Treta Yuga in Hindu mythology. In Lord Rama’s life, Lord Hanuman was very important. Lord Hanuman is revered for his steadfast devotion, power, and agility. He is regarded as a manifestation of Lord Shiva, who assumed the form of a monkey to assist Lord Rama while he was in exile.

The devotion for Lord Hanuman’s attributes, including loyalty, bravery, and selflessness, is the essence of Hanuman Jayanti. Devotees believe that Lord Hanuman bestows wisdom and knowledge onto them as well as shields them from all evil. On the day of his birthday, worshippers of Lord Hanuman ask for blessings for general success and prosperity. The auspicious day is a time to give thanks and ask Lord Hanuman for his blessings. Prayers, offerings, and rituals are typically performed early in the morning to kick off the Hanuman Jayanti celebrations.

The Drik Panchang claims that Hanuman was born at sunrise. On the day of Hanuman Jayanti, worshippers go to the temples first thing in the morning. Purnima tithi will be in effect this year from 9:19 AM on April 5 to 10:04 AM on April 6. Devotees do puja rituals and special prayers to invoke the blessings of Lord Hanuman on this day. Taking a bath and praying to Lord Rama and Hanuman start the day. Devotees visit Hanuman temples and undertake a daylong fast. They chant the Hanuman Chalisa while offering the deity fruits, flowers, vermilion, and sweets.

Celebrating the Divine Power
