What lies ahead for Rahul Gandhi?
Just after concluding his highly successful Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi was welcomed with a barrage of political challenges, beginning with his disqualification as a Member of Parliament. Ahead of the forthcoming general elections in 2024, the Congress has lost its de facto leader in the electoral which could pose a major challenge to the grand old party as it the ouster of the incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
However, many political leaders believe the shadow of Rahul’s conviction is not necessarily negative for the Congress leader and party. In fact, experts believe the public support for Gandhi is expected to rise with the Opposition uniting against Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP.
