Haryana Accident: A roadways bus Saturday collided head-on with a truck in Jind district of Haryana, killing one and leaving 50 injures. The injured were immediately rushed to the nearest health care centre in Julana, where the doctor transferred 20 injured patients to PGIMS, Rohtak.
“One person was killed and 50 were injured after a roadways head-on with a truck in Haryana’s Jind district, said Haryana Police.
Authorities claim that the early-morning Saturday roadways bus left Jind for Gurgaon and struck the truck as soon as it reached the Haveli Hotel on the Jind-Rohtak National Highway close to Julana.
The District Magistrate and other officials arrived at the scene and assessed the situation after learning about the incident.

Accidents rate in Haryana
9,431 accidents were reported in total in 2020, which is 13.82% fewer than the number reported during the same period in 2019. According to the Times Of India, approximately 30 accidents were reported daily in 2019, up from 26 the year before.
The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) reported that in 2021, two-wheelers were involved in 69,240 fatal road accidents, or 44.5% of all fatal road accidents. Cars came in second with 23,531 fatalities (15.1%), followed by trucks/lorries with 14,622 fatalities (9.4%).
