Haryana Ravan's burning effigy falls on ground; No injuries reported so far Watch Video

Haryana: In the state’s Yamunanagar on Wednesday, a Ravan effigy fell on spectators during a Dussehra celebration, injuring a few, according to news agency ANI.

The practically burned-out structure toppled over individuals with some of its burning remnants as visible in the incident’s vidoe. According to ANI, many people barely made it out alive.

On Wednesday, people all throughout the country will celebrate Dussehra, the festival that marks the victory of good over evil as represented by Lord Ram’s victory over Ravan.

As part of the festivities, Ravan’s effigies, as well as those of his brother Kumbhakaran and son Meghnad, are burned, along with Ramlila performances and fairs.
