In Delhi, a lockdown has been imposed in some areas of Punjabi Bagh and Nangloi in Delhi by an order of the District Magistrate. The term lockdown has not been used in the order issued by the administration, but the markets have been ordered to close completely.
Earlier, the Delhi government had indicated that a lockdown would not be imposed in the entire capital, but in areas where the transition would be more severe, a lockdown could be imposed. This order is being viewed in the same context.
