High court on increasing case in Gujarat

The Gujarat High Court has given instructions in the midst of increasing corona infection in the state. The court has commented that there is a need for a lockdown in the state.

The court asked to take a decision based on the situation as soon as possible. The High Court said that the government should take a decision in respect of curfew and weekend curfew for 3 to 4 days in the state. For the first time in Gujarat, 3,000 Covid-19 cases a day came on Monday. A total of 3,160 cases were reported in the state. Fifteen people died due to infection.

Officials of the Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad said that in the last nine days, a total of 899 patients were admitted to the hospital due to corona infection. Of these, 95 percent of those eligible for vaccination were not vaccinated.

According to English newspaper Times of India, Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital, DrJP Modi said that out of 899 patients hospitalized, only 93 anti-corona vaccine received the first dose. At the same time, 21 of these patients received both doses.

The Gujarat High Court has asked the state government to take a decision on imposing weekend curfew in view of the increase in daily affairs of Corona. The High Court feels that a lockdown should be imposed in the state.

According to the Health Ministry data till Tuesday, a total of 8,31,10,926 doses of vaccines have been given in the country so far.

According to the ministry’s data till 7 am, a total of 43,00,966 doses of the vaccine were given in the last 24 hours, of which 39,00,505 beneficiaries were given the first dose of vaccine and 4,00,461 beneficiaries were given the second dose of the vaccine. Of the total vaccines administered so far, 60 per cent of the doses have been given in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.
