PM Modi: On Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence in New Delhi to inform him on the situation in the violent Manipur region as well as the flooding in Assam. This occurs after PM Modi completed his state visits to Egypt and the United States today and arrived back in the nation. Previously, N Biren Singh, the chief minister of Manipur, briefed Amit Shah on Sunday and stated that both the state and federal governments had been able to significantly curb the violence. In order to assess the Manipur problem, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and senior ministers on Monday. As relief camps for individuals impacted by the violence have been established at schools, the prime minister has directed that there be no shortages of flour or gas there. PM Modi also went over the strategy for bringing peace to Manipur.
Amit Shah Receives Updates on Manipur Crisis from CM N Biren Singh
In addition to Shah, many other senior officials were present at the meeting with the prime minister, including Minister of State for Labour Bhupendra Yadav, Minister of State for Finance Nirmala Sitharaman, and Minister of State for Petroleum Hardeep Singh Puri.
N Biren Singh, the chief minister of Manipur, arrived in the city on Sunday morning from Imphal and went to see Shah at his home. “Called on Hon’ble Union Home Minister, Shri @AmitShah Ji in New Delhi today and briefed about the evolving situation on the ground in Manipur. Under Amit Shah Ji’s close supervision, the State and Central Govt have been able to control the violence to a great extent in the past week,” he tweeted.

Union Government Assures Manipur CM of Action for Restoring Normalcy
The home minister reassured him that the Union government would take all feasible measures to restore normality in Manipur, according to the Manipur Chief Minister, who also stated that there have been no reports of casualties related to the violence since June 13. Shah asked us to intensify our efforts to bring about enduring peace and he also requested everyone in Manipur’s support to ensure that peace reigns. “I was joined by BJP National Spokesperson Shri @sambitswaraj Ji, Hon’ble MP Rajya Sabha Shri @MaharajaManipur Ji and Hon’ble Speaker Shri Th Satyabrata Singh Ji,” CM Singh said. An all-party meeting on the Manipur crisis was presided over by the Union Home Minister last week. The three-hour meeting was attended by two chief ministers from the area, 18 political parties, and 4 northeastern MPs.
Amit Shah Updates All-Party Gathering on Manipur Situation
He informed the all-party gathering that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been keeping a close eye on the situation in the violent state since day one and offering counsel while being completely sensitive to the issue at hand. Shah stressed that no one has killed in the unrest in the northeastern state since June 13 while stating that things were progressively getting back to normal in Manipur. To quickly diffuse the situation and reestablish peace and confidence between the diverse communities in Manipur, he requested the support of all political parties.
