According to an official statement, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel met at a high level on Friday in Gandhinagar to discuss security and other preparations for the game, which is scheduled to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles will attend the match on Sunday. Chief Minister Patel reviewed security and other arrangements with top officials,” the release said.

According to the announcement, police officers briefed the CM about the intricate plans put in place to ensure the match worked smoothly, including the deployment of 4,500 people to handle traffic management, teams, and ground security. According to the statement, the Chief Minister gave officials instructions to make sure that the general public is not harmed by the movement of VIPs and ordered them to notify the public in advance about closed roads and detours. For the convenience of spectators, who are anticipated to travel from all over the nation and outside, the Chief Minister also requested that the frequency of metro trains heading towards Motera station—which is close to the stadium—be increased.
