Which trekking routes now require approval?

Trekking on the Kareri, Triund, and Adi Himani Chamunda trails will require prior approval from the Kangra Superintendent of Police office, per the directive. If IMD Shimla issues warnings and alerts, all previously granted licences for the trekking routes (as previously specified) will be revoked.

The Mountaineering Center Mcleodganj’s search and rescue teams, the NDRF, SDRF, and the police, however, will be excluded from the aforementioned guidelines.

Dr. Nipun Jindal has requested the district tourism officer to give instructions to all the sides involved in the Kangra district’s tourism industry to advise all visitors staying there of the limitations on tracking activities.
