Hinduja Group chairman, SP Hinduja, the eldest of four Hindu brothers, has died aged 87 in London, UK, a family spokesman said on Wednesday. SP Hinduja had been unwell for some time, the spokesperson said.
In a statement, the family said, “Gopichand, Prakash, Ashok and the entire Hinduja family regret to announce the death today of our family patriarch and chairman of the Hinduja Group, S P Hinduja.”

“He [SP Hinduja] was a visionary and mentor to the family who passed on the founding principles and values of our late father PD Hinduja. He along with his brothers played a very important role in building strong relations between his home country of Britain and his native India,” the family said.

His loss left a huge void because the brothers were always four bodies and one soul.
