Hybrid terrorist killed in anti-terror operation in J-K’s Shopian

Imran Bashir, the hybrid terrorist who killed Kashmiri Pandit Puran Krishna Bhatt in Shopian, has been killed by his fellow terrorists. According to the information, security forces along with Imran had come to conduct an operation against another terrorist. The terrorists hiding there suddenly started firing, in which Imran was killed.

Terrorist Imran Bashir Ghani, who threw grenade at outside laborers in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, was caught alive, after which raids were being conducted on the basis of the revelations made by him.

Meanwhile, an encounter took place between the terrorists and the security forces in Nowgam, Shopian.

Two laborers from Uttar Pradesh were killed in the terrorist attack in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Both were residents of Kannauj district of the state. Kashmir Zone Police wrote in a tweet on Tuesday, ‘Terrorists hurled grenades at Harman, in which two UP laborers Manish Kumar and Ram Sagar were injured. He was taken to the hospital where he died. Both were residents of Kannauj. The area has been cordoned off. A few days ago a Kashmiri Pandit was shot dead in Shopian.


In another tweet, the police said that the terrorist who threw the grenade had been arrested. Police said, ‘The person arrested by Shopian police is Imran Bashir Ghani, a hybrid terrorist of banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Further investigation and raids are on.’

Kashmiri Pandit shot on October 1

Earlier on October 15, a Kashmiri Pandit Puran Krishna Bhat was shot dead near his house in Chaudhary Gund in South Kashmir district.

According to the local people he had not migrated and was living in Shopian. The Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti (KPSS), an organization representing Kashmiri Pandits, said from its official handle, “Another Kashmiri non-migrant died in Chaudhary Gund in Shopian. Nothing changed at ground zero.”
