Hyderabad: A Class 10 student in Hyderabad was allegedly gang-raped by five of her classmates inside the Hayathnagar police station. In addition to recording the incident, these boys also blackmailed the victim before gang-raping her once more. Girl remained quiet due to fear, and, the boys kept on abusing her by taking nude images and constantly sexually assaulting her.

The boys forwarded the video to others
Although the incident happened in August, the victim’s parents first learned about it this month as a result of a social media video that went viral. Ten days after the initial incident, they sexually assaulted the girl again. All five suspects have been detained and are currently in a juvenile facility.
They had shared the video with one of their friends, who then forwarded it to 20 additional students, whereupon the incident broke out. The boys began using the girl as a sexual object and as a means of blackmail and even took nude images of her. The girl was then questioned by her father as soon as he came to know about the incident.
Boys kept on abusing her for four months
The victim, who had reportedly been subjected to abuse by the boys for the previous four months and who had allegedly even made death threats against her, was so terrified that she kept the abuse a secret from her parents. The incident was only made public after the video went viral and was brought to her father’s attention, who works as a security guard.
A police report was immediately filed by the girl’s parents. A case against the accused has been filed under the POCSO Act based on their complaint, and police are currently looking into the situation.
