Indian Navy: The Indian Navy’s decision to allow women to join its elite special forces will enable them to serve as commandos in any of the three defence services for the first time. The best soldiers in the Army, Navy, and Air Force’s Special Forces undertake rigorous training, are capable of launching a swift and covert response in restricted regions, and have historically been considered a man’s domain.
India Navy allows women to join its special forces Marcos
According to an unnamed naval official, this is a watershed moment ,women can now join the special forces if they so wish and meet the requirements. Special Forces units are voluntary, and no one is ever assigned to one.
Both female officers and sailors who enlist as Agniveers next year will have the option of volunteering to become Marcos.

Marcos are trained to operate on land, air and sea
In addition to specialized diving operations, observation and reconnaissance missions to support naval operations, and clandestine strikes on enemy warships, offshore sites, and other important assets, the commandos are trained to execute all of these things.
They have participated in counterterrorism operations around Kashmir’s Wular lake and have received training to combat terrorists in nautical environments. All branches of the Indian Navy, including special operations, aviation, and vessel work, are now open to women. It has entirely changed and become a gender-neutral force.
