Independence Day 2023: In anticipation of Independence Day 2023, Delhi Police on Tuesday issued a traffic warning to guarantee efficient vehicle movement in the nation’s capital. The Prime Minister will address the public on August 15 by hoisting the flag at the Red Fort, according to the traffic advisory. As a result, from 4 am until 10 am, all public access to the roads near the Red Fort will be suspended. Only authorised vehicles will be able to use these routes.
Included Routes Under Traffic Advisory
Netaji Subhash Marg, Lothian Road, SP Mukherjee Marg, Chandni Chowk Road, Nishad Raj Marg, Esplanade Road and its connection road to Netaji Subhash Marg, Ring Road from Rajghat to ISBT, and ISBT to IP Fly are all included in the traffic advisory that was issued on Sunday. Up until Tuesday, the Outer Ring Road won’t be open to regular traffic.

Unregistered vehicles on the Independence Day Hexagon, India Gate, Copernicus Marg, Mandi House, Sikandra Road, W Point, A Point Tilak Marg, Mathura Road, BSZ Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg, JL Nehru Marg, and Nizamuddin Ring Road between Khatta and ISBT Kashmiri Gate, as well as from Nizamuddin Khatta to ISBT Kashmiri Gate via Salimgarh Bypass towards Outer Ring Road.
