Independence Day 2023: Digging opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that ‘India feels more secure as the era of serial blasts is over’.
Borders are now more secure
PM Modi on his 77th independence day speech said “Today, the country is seeing a drop in terror attacks. Borders are now more secure.”
On this day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the national flag at 7:30 AM at the historic Red Fort in Delhi. In a notable departure from his customary approach, he chose to refer to the vast population of 1.4 billion Indians as “parivarjan,” which translates to “family members.” This choice of words marked a shift in his communication style, aiming to foster a sense of unity and connection among the citizens.
The event witnessed the presence of cabinet ministers, prominent political figures, the leaders of all three branches of the armed forces, and government officials. This collective gathering underscored the significance of the occasion and highlighted the shared commitment towards the nation’s progress and development.
