The 10th round of military-level talks between India and China has ended. In this conversation that lasted for 16 hours, there has been discussion on retreating from the clashing points of Gogra Heights, Hot Spring and Depsang Plains. This conversation of Corps Commander Level took place in Moldo in the Chinese territory.
Two days before this talk, both the armies had withdrawn their forces from the northern and southern sides of Pangong Tso. On February 11, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had announced in Parliament that the two countries had reached an agreement in this area, under which further deployment of troops there would be stratified, coordinated and stopped.
The military talks of the 10th visit between India and China are taking place at a time when China has officially accepted two days before with Indian troops in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh on the night of 14-15 June last year. Violent clashes took place.
This confession of China came eight months after the Galvan incident, while India making public the martyrdom of its soldiers, appreciated their indomitable courage and valor and gave them due respect.
The talks between the two countries have taken place when the process of removing Indian and Chinese troops, weapons and other military equipment from the northern and southern end of Pangong Lake has been completed.
According to the information, this meeting between the two countries started at 10 am in the Moldo border area on the Line of Control towards China and ended at around 9:45 pm. Emphasis was laid on rapid withdrawal from areas like Hot Springs, Gogra and Depsang to reduce the heavy tension on the border from India. After the last meeting, both countries have withdrawn their troops from the northern and southern end areas of Pangong Lake. Along with sending the soldiers back from the border, weapons, other military equipment, bunkers and other construction have also been removed.
