Kashmir’s Baramulla: On Sunday, a 108-foot-tall National Flag was unveiled in Hyderbeigh, Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla, marking the first of its kind in North Kashmir.
The action was made as part of the Centre’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, which encourages citizens to hoist the tricolour to celebrate the country’s 75th anniversary of independence.
Major General SS Slaria of the GoC Kilo Force told reporters on the occasion, “This is the first system of its kind in North Kashmir. I thank the people of this province for supporting the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.”
Today, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led the Tiranga rally arranged by Border Security Force troops in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, as part of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the auspices of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it in celebration of India’s 75th year of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements.

The programme aims to inspire Indians all over the world to fly the national flag at home. The program’s goal is to make the relationship with the national flag more personal instead of simply formal or institutional.
The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’s official journey began on March 12, 2021, kicking off a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence.
On Saturday, the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry Regimental Centre, under the auspices of the Chinar Corps, organised a live band performance to commemorate Independence Day as part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration to deliver the message of peace in Kashmir.
As arrangements for Independence Day intensified across the country, the Central Reserve Police Force arranged a huge walkathon rally in the Budgam area on Friday.
The event was organised by the CRPF 181 battalion.
On Saturday, With the launch of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign ahead of the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) conducted a Tiranga yatra with locals and pilgrims in Badrinath.
