India Independence Day 2022: Har Ghar Tiranga Yojana will be implemented from 13 to 15 August before Independence Day and every Railway Employees will hoist the National Flag at their homes. For this, the Railways will give its employees to hoist the tricolor flag at home and in return they will charge Rs 38 per flag from their salary. Union leaders are not liking this order of the Railways and they have strongly opposed it.

The workers of the North Central Railway Employees Union have expressed strong displeasure over this. Union minister Chandan Singh said that the railway workers themselves are patriots and will themselves buy the tricolor with their own money. This rule should not be imposed on them. At the same time, regarding this order, Zonal General Secretary RP Singh has also said that the flag should be purchased from the Staff Benefit Fund but money should not be deducted from our salary for this. According to the information, the tricolor to be distributed to the railway personnel will be made available by a private agency.

Flag Cost for Railways Worker
As part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, the Railway Board has sent a letter to all the Zonal General Managers, Factory, RPF and Hospital Management on August 15, instructing everyone to hoist the tricolor flag at their respective homes. The purchase of this tricolor is to be done from the Staff Benefit Fund (Employee Benefit Fund) and later the money deducted from the account of railway workers is to be sent to the Employees Benefit Fund itself, but the employees are opposing it. For uninitiated, the cost of the flag distributed to the railway workers is Rs 20 in the BJP office, while it can be bought for Rs 25 in the head post office. Self-help groups are also providing this flag to the people for Rs 20.
